Corporate events run on a clock. Employees have a window to eat, guests have a program to get back to, and organizers need food that shows up on time and moves a line quickly. Papa Gino's brings a wood-fired oven and a live pizza station to offices, campuses, and venues across Miami, then serves fresh pies without turning lunch into a bottleneck.

Why Live Pizza Works for Corporate Crowds

Buffet trays go cold. Boxed lunches get repetitive. A live pizza station keeps food hot because pies come out of the oven during the event, not hours before. Guests move through at their own pace, which means the line self-regulates instead of stacking up at a fixed serving time. For a team lunch, a product launch, or an all-hands meeting, that flexibility is what keeps the food from competing with the program.

The oven is the whole point of the setup. A wood-fired deck runs hot enough that a thin Neapolitan-style pie sets, chars, and leaves in about ninety seconds, so nothing waits under a heat lamp. Guests watch the peel go in and come out, which turns a catering line into a short, low-key show without holding up the room. Nobody has to leave a session early to catch a tray before it is gone.

Scaling From Small Teams to Large Events

The setup scales with the headcount. A team of twenty or thirty runs comfortably on a single station with one service window. A company-wide event for two hundred or more may need a second station or a split service schedule so everyone eats within a reasonable time.

Formats for Different Corporate Events

Not every corporate event looks the same. A lunch-and-learn needs a fast, quiet setup that is packed down before the next meeting starts. A product launch or open house may want the oven positioned where guests pass it on the way in. A community festival or campus event needs high-volume, quick-turnover service that keeps moving for hours.

Chef-attended
A chef works the oven and the peel while guests order and collect. Best for launches, client evenings, and any event where the pizza is part of the room.
Buffet-style
Pies land on a counter in batches and guests help themselves. Fast to set up, easy to pause for a keynote, and simple to restart when the session ends.
Festival-style
A high-throughput line built for steady crowds: order at one point, collect at another, keep the queue short. Built for campus events and neighborhood festivals.
Mixed formats
Long days often need two of these at once — a quiet station during the morning sessions and a faster line when the whole company is free.

Scheduling Around Your Program

The biggest risk at a corporate event is food that lands at the wrong moment. If your CEO is speaking at noon, the pizza should not be the loudest thing in the room. We build the service window around your agenda so the station opens when guests are free and closes before the next session.

Send the run of show with your quote request — start times, keynote blocks, breaks, and the hard stop at the end of the day. We time the bake to match it, and we confirm the plan with you before the event, not on the morning of.

Community and Festival Service

Community events, neighborhood festivals, and campus gatherings need volume and speed. Festival-style service is built for exactly that: a high-throughput line that moves guests through quickly without sacrificing freshness. Pies bake in about ninety seconds, so a single oven can keep pace with a steady crowd. For larger festivals, we can run multiple stations or stagger service windows across the day.

Tell us the expected footfall and the hours you are open, and we will plan how many stations the day needs. Organizers who run a festival every year often keep the same layout and simply move the start time with the season.

What Organizers Need to Know

Ground
Level area

The oven needs a flat, stable surface. Most corporate campuses, courtyards, plazas, and venues in Miami have space that works. Sloped driveways and gravel are the usual exceptions.

Access
Load-in path

We need a route for our equipment from the vehicle to the setup point — a service entrance, a freight lift, or a short outdoor path. Send the address and the venue contact and we will confirm the route before the event day.

Room
Oven + prep line

Plan for the footprint of the oven plus a short prep counter where pies are finished and handed out. If your location is tight, we will tell you what we need and whether it fits before you commit to a booking.

Timing
Before the day

Load-in times, power access, and service windows are all part of the planning conversation. We settle them in advance so event day is just setup, service, and pack-down.

Menu Options for Mixed Crowds

Corporate guest lists are mixed, and the menu should reflect that. Classic and specialty Neapolitan-style pies cover most preferences, and the toppings bar lets guests customize their slice. Vegetarian and vegan options fit naturally into the lineup. If your team has specific dietary needs, tell us when you request a quote and we will plan the menu around them.

Classic Neapolitan pies — margherita, marinara, and a rotating daily pie — plus two or three specialty pies built for the season.

Vegetarian and vegan pies are on the standard lineup, not a special request. Tell us the mix and we will weight the menu accordingly.

Allergies and dietary needs go on the quote form. If your group needs a gluten-free base or a nut-free service, say so early and we will confirm what we can do for your event.

Questions Planners Ask Us

Four things come up on almost every corporate call. If your question is not here, the quote desk answers Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Can you handle an event for several hundred people?

Yes. Larger events may need a second station or a split service schedule so guests are not waiting. We plan staffing and layout around your headcount and event length, and we will say so if the format you asked for will not move fast enough.

How fast can the line move?

A single pie bakes in about ninety seconds, and a well-run station keeps a steady flow. For high-volume events we use festival-style service or multiple stations to keep things moving — the goal is a short wait per guest, not a long queue that runs past your program.

Do you need power or special setup?

Setup needs a level area and access for our equipment. Specific power and space requirements depend on your venue, so send us the address and we will confirm what is needed before you commit. Venues we have not worked before usually take one short conversation to sort out.

Can you work around our event schedule?

Yes. We build the service window around your agenda so food lands when guests are free. Share your run of show and we will time the bake accordingly — including a hard stop if the room has to be cleared for the next session.
